The plakat is the original fin type of bettas and there are three different types of plakat The traditional show plakat, The modern show plakat, and Lastly the fighting plakat. The fighting plakat breeders focus on fighting style, hard scales and stamina with each fighting line being a little diffrent with some being more light fast side like a submarine and the others more on the big and slower side like a underwater tank.

And now the traditional show plakat is like a fighting plakat but they don't fight them and they are normly are more colorfull and have a little longer fins.

And lastly the modern show plakat there the ones you see that are crowntails and halfmoons and There the most fancy of the plakat group.
