I know it isn't much for a veil tail, but I need to know the value of veil tail bettas as fry, adolescents (breeding age), and the adults. Then I need to know the difference in price between the males and females of each age group.

depends on the quality in my opion. If they have good vivid colors(even multis are good) and nice fins, i would sell the adults for about 6-7 dollars. Many people would probably pay more for good solid color bettas with no washes and if they have good tails, maybe a lil more. for juvies, probably around 3-4 if the same quality applies. thats just my opion. i hope to get a nice red or cambodian female to breed to my a waiting red male. he has extended red color(no black, solid red) and i want to breed him bad.

I breed and my viels went for 2 for females and 4 for adults, Fry's are hard to sell for the fact that there extremely vulnerable. i have a cross breed of my Crowntail Male and my Vieltail Female, Combtails is what they make together, and Crowns and Halfmoons make i believe sunmoon or something like that, this is where the $$ is, for breeding.

Crowns are definitly my favorite, the reason in betta fights that the crowns tails get ripped easier is because of the exposed "fingers" or "Crownpoint" that stick out further in the dorsal, caudal and anal fin but ive seen crowns still live through the toughess bites and viels die after the same amount of fin damage. But like you said its all preference and everyone's entitled to it. viels can be beautiful, i have a male thats mult-colored and a female thats also multi.
