Betta fish plakat 10 points for answer

I bought three female bettas that live in a community tank together they do fine but some times they have to give eachother space then one day I noticed that one female was bigger than the others and she had bigger fins and tail and has the parts that males have to flare while the other two had smaller ones so is it possible that female is a plakat male

Some females can be large. For the most accurate check, look under the betta (between its head and front part of anal fin). If there is a white spot or "pearl", then it's a female.

ah I had the same thought to, I'm suspecting mine is a hermaphrodite, cos she has the white egg sac but flares like a male with the whole "beard". I suspect as we try to perfect our males our females are becoming more masculin. (xcuse the bad spelling)

it can also be a cross bred betta like my fry! but like said look under its belly to see if your see the "pearl" if so, then you got a lady on your hands, there also domince in the tank and for the dominant female she will tend to get bigger knowing its her tank and to keep it that way!
