    Smile Your favorite betta?

I am curious to see what everyone's betta preferences are. It seems like each person likes their own style of betta. What is your favorite? Feel free to post pictures!

My personal favorites are the delta or halfmoon coppers, and ones with variegated black and red finage iridescent color doesn't matter to me on those ones.

Do the crowns normally have shorter fins overall or are they normal sized but with the webbing reduction?

depending on the specific bred type some crowns tails, overall length can add up to the same length as a Viel, some webbing of the caudal fins are longer than others. Its mainly on the genes of the bettas being bred

I'm growing increasingly fond of Crowntails now that I have my own In general, I like really deep, dark colors; the cellophane or marbled ones seem kind of plain to me, though I have seen some really beautiful ones, too. I like fins that look kind of spiky rather than smooth. I tend to favor black/blue/red combinations more than anything else.

well unlike hvincent, i LOVE marbles :P must be because i own one XD, and i dont believe theyr plain, i like the fact they can change colour, my marble is changing from red to fluro blue at the moment (origionally red and pearly white) I love emerald green bettas, black bettas, red bettas, and sparky (who is a change of blood red, fluro blue and lavender depending on light). Crowntails are my fave in males, although i have to say i prefer veiltail females. I have a combtail male at the moment, dont like his finnage that much, but he was screaming at me to get him out of the lps.
Crown tails... veiltails meh, either or... like them both
(however i did see a picture of a double double tail, i was like woah four tails, looked really cool)

2 gallons is the recomended volume, which is 7.57L

Optimum temp for bettas is 27 degrees celcius or 80 F

Need to ask me about converting something from litres to gallons or vice versa or temp from the farenheit to celcius, inches to centimetres. I'M HERE!
