make your own tank?

Hey, I was wondering if anyone else has thought of or has made their own tank. I have been thinking bout one thats five squares with a pentagon in the middle. it would be for my male to be in the middle and the five compartments on the outside for the females. It would have holes in each of the dividers so i could filter the water as well as heat while keeping it dispersed. It would also have a lid that had an easy acess hole in it to allow me to feed them without having to take it off all the time (will most likely be heavy).
So, with that in mind, does anyone have suggestions or could tell me if they made one and if so what it roughly looked like?

I made a plexiglass tank for growing and multiplying aquarium plants a long time ago. Mine is less complicated than the one in the tuturial I followed however I kept the link

Yea besides a breeder, i'm also a Glazier, i work with cutting glass and plexi, so i've done somthing like that before for a couple of customers.

lol females are like that, each one with their own personality. and i agree sometimes you do think they could be reincarnations. id be scared to see who my dominant female reincarnated from. my dominant female is cruel, im going to have to keep her separated, she has torn the fin of every single female i have (they share a tank), and i dunno how id go with breeding her though probs kill the male, or mame him.

To Luis... did they end up well? I just duno if I should, my mum wont let me make my design anyway cos "we don't have enough room" so either i move out after the last three weeks of school to rent with some friends for uni, or i wait until my lil sis finishes school and we move. I duno if i would be able to convince her to let me have the tank in my room though hope she will, cos then i'll make it! I'd see if i could get some friends over here to help make it, i know a few who are carpenters, who may be able to help me over here. Was it hard to make the tanks?
