Can I put my Betta in my 30 gallon fresh water tank with a few other community fish?

The community fish are: a sucker fish (pacausamis sp????), 2 mickey mouse fish, a gold fish...which I wouldn't mind putting into it's own bowl. It's set up with a filteration system and a heater and a few plants. Should he be okay in there? Or should I put him in his own bowl? I have a 2 gallon bowl. He's a male Betta by the way.
I don't think putting a betta in a 2 gallon bowl is cruel by any means!! Have you ever seen what they are sold in?? I used to have a Betta when I was younger and it lived in a bowl for 5 years!!

depends what sort of goldfish it is. if it has a long ornate tail then your betta may think its another male betta and try to fight it. and as long as your other fish aren't the fin nipper type or the aggressive type he should be fine.
