    Default Betta Breeding ?

I am breeding my two betas. I have a ten gallon tank, heater water conditioned, net, clean water, a nicely prepared tank and, lots of research and information. So please do not tell me that I am unqualified. My female has been in a hurricane glass for the past 20 or so hours and the male has swum around her flaring and doing his little dance but, there is no sign of a bubble nest at all. Occasionly he will blow a bubble or two but that is just normal betta behavior. How can I entice him to start a nest. How long will it take to build his nest? Thanks! And if you have any tips for me they are greatly welcomed. Thank you all so very much!

That is a good read on bubble nests. Make sure you do not let your female out until she has her stripes and is presenting herself head down tail up to the male otherwise you might have some pretty brutal fights on your hands.

Sounds like you need to remove them and condition for a week or so. Conditioning is very important for the health of both fish.
