    Default Adding Tea Leaves

When adding tea to a breeding tank to add tannins do u just add the tea leaves and leave them in the tank or do u just add the tea bag and remove it once the water is coloured?
    TIA
    Jess

The tea is a substitute for the IAL. I, personally, would do a tea spa just like the IAL spa. If you don't know how to do the spa, I'll be happy to share a method with you. I'm sure there's lots of ways to do it tho.

You are not a pain! This is how we all learn and exchange knowledge. Here is what I do with the leaves: (you can probably substitute 1 tea bag per 2 leaves)
I boil 10 leaves for an hour in a gallon of water , then simmer till half of the water is gone, pour that out to cool and add another half gallon and boil and simmer for the same amount of time, then put that into a gallon jug with 6 tablespoons of salt and a drop or two of methylene blue. Add a cup to each breeding tank.
