Default Female with eggs but don't want to breed

Hi, this is my first time having a female betta, it is quite apparrent that she is full of eggs but I don't want to breed her. Will she drop the eggs eventually? or do I need to do something special? I'm new at this but couldn't find anything on the breeding forum about not breeding fish
    Thanks in advance,

well i'm the breeder on here and i dont just help in breeding. By the way i'm Luis(bettalu&meg).
Your female will eventually drop her UN-fertile eggs when her body is full of food and wastes and has no room to keep her eggs. this has happened to my Veiltail, "molly" and she's not really breeding material, more of a fighter. But my other female that i cross bred is a fighter too and i got her to breed.... anyway, She will eventually drop her eggs and it wont be a hassle or health problem for her if she is in filtered and clean water.

Releasing of her eggs do cause stress, whether its done during spawning or done by her for health reasons. She will do so when she is ready to get rid of them, or ready to produce more. This cant really be avoided much, but you can help slow the process down. If You don't want to breed or nor have her produce more eggs, Giving her that bloated look, Keep her away from other bettas Especially MALES. Even keeping her with females will get her to produce eggs due to the "dominating female trait" in females. The bigger the female is with eggs and size(size is done due to growth cause by producing a large amount of eggs) the more likey in dominanting the tank. Males like i said even seeing across the room will get to to produce eggs so sight of any males should be avoided at all costs!

But knowing the information i gave you, DO NOT OVERFEED!!! overfeeding will get her ill and sick. Check out the threads on "caring for your betta" on the health section for info on proper care and expanding your bettas life
