Luis, that is a wonderful site. Thanks for posting it. Jim has extensive knowledge of genetics. Has helped me out more than once!

Couple of other names for reading more info are: Doc Daugherty and Dr. Gene Lucas. Both are, IMHO, pillars in the betta world. Lots of informative reading.

We can never have too much info!

Yeah, my fiance's new work schedule (nights) has really screwed up my sleep patterns. And I still get up around 7am! That's crazy!!!

I've had a great time tonight with lots of laughs. . . even my bird was laughing at me for laughing out loud! Poor dog comes over and looks at the screen to see if everything is alright, and well, the cats, they could give a d*mn! My household is too much!

Santiago is going to be a fun one also!

There would definitely NOT be a DULL moment! But ya gotta watch my bird, he can say some [i]really[i] ugly words (that he learned from his previous owner, I might add). It's a blast and I wouldn't change any of it! BTW, my bird just said "bye-bye"! Don't know if he's talkin to you or me!!! And Elmer (bird) loves to watch the fish tanks. Tries to catch them through the glass and always talks to them!!!

I am new to the different types and colors of betta fish and I don't quite know how to categorize the male and female that I just purchased. I want to try breeding them, but I kind of want to figure out what I might get. I am not able to post pictures yet as I am a new user but I will gladly give links to anyone who is interested in helping me out!
