    Default Breeding went Wrong!

I woke up this morning to turn the damn light on for my fish, and i was looking around for my male.

    GUESS WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    He had been Killed!!
Im am confused the female was the one getting bitten, not her biting him

I have got a few snails in there, but the wouldn't actually Kill him
I can see where he was killed or eaten though!!
    The Finnage is everywhere

All his fins are torn OFF!!
Where his stomoch is, it is torn open!
And he is no where near the same colour he was.

    I am not Happy.

    :'(!!!

I'm going to buy 2 males & 1 more female hopefully so i do get good lovers..

Wow! Sorry to hear that. From what I understand is that a female can be that agressive. Thats why it is said to watch them closely! Dont let it discourage you though it happens.

Yeah, it can go either way, but usually its the female who is killed.

its sorta weird, a while ago, when i started breeding them (then basically took a break).
The female killed the male, i also seen her being aggressive.

Yeah it happens that i stated in the begining to always watch your bettas when wanting to breed. You constantly have to watch them. its the same pair that i said might not work because the female kept loosing her strips correct? I recommend if you want to use that female try a different color male. i said they have prefreneces and wasnt joking about it. i almost have a small female kill a large male myself. but i was wating and watching 2hrs into it and found she was hurting him!

Dunno when im getting more fish, i just seen my divider thingo too, so a a new male can go in there, and one in the tank, then both females might go in breeding tank??

You want the male to be free swimming! and the female in the Divider or 2-3 way breeder. in my video i have some bettas in a 3way breeder check it out. thats what i put my female in when i placed her in the breeding tank. Like i said, you want the male free swimming so he can make a bubble nest and get used to his new home. don't expect anything to quickly to happen. and don't rush it! this is what happens. Place the new male in the breeding tank w/out the female! and let him get used to his new home for about 2 days. then you place the female in the bottle, vase, or 3way breeder. Then like i explained in my emails and on here. wait till you see a good enough nest about 4 inches. this give the female a better chance in liking the nest and not always running away from him and so she wont loose intrest quickly. Also wait to see the strips even if you see the egg or "pearl" sticking out from her belly DOESN'T MEAN SHE WANTS TO MATE PATICULARLY WITH HIM!!! this is what happened the last time and she obviously showed you that, unfortunitly! sorry for your male he was definitly a looker! like i said before deathcradle you can't rush these things, things will go all wrong if you don't let it happen. People don't breed bettas, Bettas breed bettas, we just supply there enviroment to make it happen, feel me?!

I knew where to put the male, i didnt explain it sorry,
Id basically have them all in the tank tho (in the end...until someone likes another and they breed)
so il put a male into breeding tank, then later put 2 females in and see what happens (probably in a bottle)

then id put a male in with he divider, then they have choices on who they wanna mate with LMAO

i did that but definitly put both females in seperate bottles. the females will fight each other for the attention and you wouldn't be able to tell which he has more intrest in. Keep the male in the breeding tank at all times without taking him out or putting him in a confined area. then take the female out you think is not goin to work out with him and leave the other in. After you relized who he has the hots for, and her strips are back with the "pearl" showing then follow the steps i explained. Patients will get you there trust me, i want to help you succeed so ask if i need to explain everything step by step because i will and will have no problem with it! i want to help anyone who want to help breed these lil guys. and i have the experiance too!
