yea pretty much. the first thing in going into breeding is knowing about it and looking it up. i breed bettas and theres alot to just throwing the 2 together. The male Has to make a bubble to nest to have your eggs put in. without this spawning is pointless. theres a lot to breeding and time to give. so if your intrested i'll be happy to help. but be ready for patient testing because it is! Also to promote bubble nest making put a styrofoam up on the water cut longwase to give him a safe house to start his nest, once he started it'll take a couple of days for it to reach a good size for them to want to mate again. check out my links below on breeding basics and if your still intresting and dedicated to it i'll be more than happy to share my tips with you! Oh and after a spawn between 2 bettas. after the female released her eggs, it takes about 3 weeks for her to make new ones, to whats recommended is to take your female out and leave her pshysically away from the male but leave him and her in sight of each other( basically put her in a vase or a bottle in the tank or next to it so they cant touch, but see each other!) Let me know like i said and i'll be happy to answer and give tips on how to and what to prepare for when spawning is successful! |
