I have a question about breeding bettas and their fry?

if i breed a betta what are some options that i have with the fry? can i sell them? why do people breed?

for the enjoyment that comes from breeding and the challenge to successfully breed them to adulthood.

However you must be cautious if you decide to breed, you can produce about 100 new fish from one mating, so you have to do something with them, you cant keep them all. you can give them to friends/family, or you can sell them to your pest store, most pest stores will give you store credit. But at about $1 per fish it certainly is not a lucrative venture!
