Default Help with breeding my bettas! I have 2 females an 1 male, but the male won't make a

nest, what can I dod? They seem to get along remarkable well. The male obviously favors one female, but he won't build a nest for her. I have other fish in the tank as well, could this be a factor? I have 4 Red-tailed sharks, 2 clown loaches, 2 farwallas, 2 snails, 2 cory cats, an angel, and a botia. All my fish get along very well, and the tank is decently planted (not sure what exactly there is in there plant wise). The water seems to be healthy, I have done small periodic water changes to encourage breeding, but it doesn't seem to be helping. I live in Austin, which typically has more alkaline water, but mine is more on the acidic side.

Basically I am wondering if anyone has any ideas? I previously had a mating pair of Dwarf Rams in the tank (but they sucked as parents and the eggs would get eaten), but they died from the stress of multiple matings in a row (I replaced them with the bettas).
