Is my male and female siamese fightin fish ready to breed.

Hi i have just bought a male and female siamese fighting fish and they are in the same tank seperated by a devider. I have just noticed that the male has made bubbles and am wondering what the next step is? How do i know if she is ready to lay her eggs? Thanx in advance

well its not just a quick process, unfortunitly. i breed and wish it was that easy! here's some links and set ups you must do before letting them together. the bubbles means he somewhat ready. the female needs to have vertical strips appear on the body and her eggs,"pearl". needs to be protruding from her belly these are signs or being ready, but there alot of preperation u need to do to finish off the process. read up on these link before you decided on doing this, and if you can give the time and dedication i;ll be more than happy to assist you!
