Breeding my Bettas....Didn't work?

 Breeding my Bettas....Didn't work? I have a halfmoon male betta and i got a female betta(Delta tailed mayb?)And i put them in a tank to days ago and tried to breed them today and the male already made a huge bubble nest and the female had vertical lines....But when i went to breed them the female just ran away from the male when he came up to her but when he was turned around she would come up behind him and grab a hold of his fins and wouldnt let go. My male betta ended up hiding from my female. ........So i decided to seperate them cause she was just attacking him. Has this ever happened to anyone?....Can some one give me some advice?  |
