| 1) They hatch after about 36 hours, and start swimming around after like 72. 2) If you want a female and a male to live together, you are going to have to have two or more females with the one male, or he'll pick on her. 3) I believe they can, but I am not 100 percent sure 4) You want to condition the male and female before the breeding process, which is about a two week period of feeding them, like almost a lot. During the breeding, you are not to feed them at all. 5) I'm not sure baout this one, sense the fry are so little, I wouldn't do a complete water change. After they are old enouph to swim around and stuff, you are supposed to add water, not change it. Start the tank lower then the maximum, and add water to it every 5 days or so. 6) Once they can eat pellets that are full size (meaning you don't have to break it up for them) that would be a good time. But be careful, befor this time, the males will already try ti fight eachotehr, that is how you can really tell the difference betweeen the females and males. You have to start seperateing them at this point. 7) Yes, the babie males will start fighting one another, hense the seperation. 8) It veries, but exspect the most which is around like 500 9) The age is different, I know some people who's betta's are almost 8 years old, and I know some people (includeing myself) that have had them for only a week before they die. I think the average is about 4 years though. |
