2 gallons is the recomended volume, which is 7.57L

Optimum temp for bettas is 27 degrees celcius or 80 F

Need to ask me about converting something from litres to gallons or vice versa or temp from the farenheit to celcius, inches to centimetres. I'M HERE!

I just got a Double Tail today, I saw him in the pet shop and just had to have him. I was surprised that he only cost $10.

my double tail's split doesn't go all the way, it looks more like a heart. Does this make him undesirable to breed?

    " Heart Tail

Heart Tail Betta splendens are actually a type of Double Tail. The split of the double tail only occurs at the outer edge of the caudal creating a notch in the tail forming a heart shape. Although this strain is just a "faulty" Double Tail, it is highly sought after. Many people trying to develop this strain end up with true complete Double-tails. "

Sounds like he is even more desirable to breed than standard double tails! Congrats!

Wow, I guess he was a very good find! I was wanting to line breed him, but I recently found some conflicting information. It said that you shouldn't breed two double tails together. So should I just keep to breeding a double tail with a single tail that has a double tail gene?
