    Ok,Im confused,I saw a few pics of betta fish and,Im kinda getting mixed up,Which is the double tailed? any pics?

    double tail bettas have two distinct tails
    you can get double double which have four tails
    by the way, i dont have a double tail want one though.

    2 gallons is the recomended volume, which is 7.57L

    Optimum temp for bettas is 27 degrees celcius or 80 F

    Need to ask me about converting something from litres to gallons or vice versa or temp from the farenheit to celcius, inches to centimetres. I'M HERE!

    I have never seen them in the pet stores. I bet people grab them before I get there though

    yeah neither have i, i havent seen anything but a crown tail, veiltail and crowntail X veiltail... little selection here, they are all generic tails, not that thats bad, they are still beautiful.

    heres a few pics of double tails to give you a idea of what they are
    these are my males by the way
    also if your not sure if yours is a dt or just a betta with a damaged tail check out there dorsal fin, there usually broader then single tail bettas as you can see from the pics
