HI i just got a male crowntail betta fish!!!And i have some questions.?

1) When Do they go to sleep? And when do they wake up??
2)What are the rare colors in Betta's? Mines bodys blue with a yellow tail!
3)Can you use Triop food for them if I run out of fish food?
4) Do you think Moon or Moony is a better name??

Hey Kayleen, What I have noticed with my Bettas is that they sleep pretty much anytime they want. I say this because I've seen my Bettas sleep even with lights still on. I do imagine though that they do at some point go to sleep when you turn out the lights.

Mine seem to be following my sleep patterns, a little sleep here & there! LOL Seriously tho, mine don't really have a set pattern. I can say that when I turn the lights on in the mornings that NONE of them are sleeping. . . they're all up front and at the top waiting for me to feed them! mom = food and all these little piggies like to eat here.
