has anyone put rasbaras or however you spell it in with their ct betta, cuz i've tried neon tetras, and dwarf guarmis, but my betta jus attacked them i mean he did leave the neon tetras alone but from the original 3, 1 of them died and i dont know if he killed him or it just died so i wanna try one more time with another fish to see if it would be okay with my betta this is my set up [IMG][/IMG]

yes they should do fine with the CT. Rasboras are darter fish and get swim in very fast bolts of speed. they should no problem getting away from the CT if they need to. Crowntails are the most aggressivebesides Plakats. r u saying he killed the dwarf gourami? this is probably because they were both MALE labrynth fish. all male labrynth fight no matter if it isnt the same species. paradise with fight with bettas, bettas with fight with gouramis, you get the point. and make sure you get a top on tht tank!!!

I personally haven't worked with any of the fish stated besides the neon tetra and i have had 4+ when bought my first betta, i eventually gave away the tetras because i noticed my first veil male was harrassing them, then i eventually ended up buying multiple tanks and bought over 15 bettas all in seperate breeders and tanks, and gave some of those away. i have 10 and a tank full of Crowntail/Vieltail mixes. my point is its up to your CT personality. my viel was aggresive the one mostly aggressive to others. check out on my links at the bottom for compatability. You also what it looks like to be a 10gallon tank, your want to only keep 5 fish including your betta for enough room to swim. 2gallons per betta/fish is whats recommended for health and space.
