    Fish Momma is here honey!!!

Okay, for a very general answer I'm gonna say NO! There are at least two things that I see as a problem. Let's talk about the Gouramis first. Gouramis are a distant cousin to Bettas and are usually known to fight and not do well together in the same tank. Gouramis are also more like a schooling fish and should be placed in groups of 4 or more. This helps them from ganging up on each other. Gouramis are also tropical fish so they shouldn't really be in with the goldfish, either. They like temps around 72 degrees F and should be in aquariums that are 50 gallons or more which is sounds like you have. Here is a good website that I use for info on Gouramis: [Registered users only can see links. ].

Now for the goldfish. I do goldfish and absolutely LOVE them! For each goldfish you have you should have a minimum of 10-15 gallons per goldfish so it sounds like you're okay on this. Goldfish, however, really should be kept with just goldfish for several reasons. First, they are very dirty fish and produce LOTS of waste. One reason for this is that they have no stomach so as soon as they eat, they poo! Today was my day to clean out the goldfish tank and it was due for plant changes and decor scrubbing so I had to take out the goldfish! When I went to put them back in the tank I could NOT believe the amount of poo they made in just 45 minutes! Having said that if you do put other fish besides goldfish with them, they need to be hardy fish that will tolerate higher ammonia and nitrIte levels. (There really isn't any fish that does this that great!) Another thing about goldfish is that they like cooler water temps around the low 70s F. (Bettas need their water around 78-82 degrees F.) I have heard of people keeping Plecos with the goldfish but again, remember how dirty the goldfish make things!

Below my signature is a fish compatibility chart that you might find helpful. I have others that I use, too, so let me know if you want those and I can post them.

Good luck and I hope this helps answer your questions! Let me know if you have any others!!
