Would this be a good idea for my female Crowntail Betta?

Default Would this be a good idea for my female Crowntail Betta?

I got a juvenile female Crowntail Beta about 2-3 weeks ago. I have a small 10 gallon tank and they're a few fish in there as well as a Male Beta. I researched tons of websites and they all said that they get along with the fish I have (Tetras, Cories, Pleco,Danios and Mollies. Even the barbs aren't nipping him!) Well, I want to put her in my community tank because I feel bad for her even if she's in a 2.5 gallon tank. It just doesn't seem fair to me. So would this be a good idea? She's still a little small and could possibly fit through the filter tube that sucks the water in. Like I said, she's still a juvenile, plus, what about the male Beta and the Barbs. Will they do anything to her?

Thank you for the answers! Cheers!!! XD

Keep an eye on your parameters i.e. ammonia, sounds like you have a lot of fish in that 10 gallon. No you can't put male and female bettas together. One will pick on the other one and it can get ugly. Barbs can be fine with bettas, at least the peaceful ones like cherry. There are more aggressive barbs like tiger barbs who are know for their fish nipping antics. You female betta should be fine alone in the 2.5. Maybe you could add some live plants like java ferns if you don't already have any. That would give her something new to interact with.
