Default What to name my new Crowntail Betta?

His body is blue, and his fins are red, but sort of like separating the blue from the red on every fin, there is like, green shimmer, it's really kool so I was thinking about naming him Shimmer, but that's a girl name, so then I thought about Shimmy (which kinda sounds like Jimmy) but that's like a dance move. Sooo, any suggestions. Also I would like to add, yes, he does have the recommended 1 gal. aquarium with a filter, not some little Dixie cup to live in.
To the last guy, yea I know, but my mom wouldn't let me get anything bigger, and the lady at the pet store was like "Get this one," (to my mom) "it's perfect size". I don't like the workers at petshops they are sometimes kinda, well, dumb.

Since his "crown" is on his tail instead of his head:
Gnik, Ekud, Ecnirp, Drol, Razt, or Razc, Haorahp. Razt sounds pretty cool.
Although 1 gallon bowls are better than the smaller ones, most caring betta owners recommend at least 2.5 gallons. This is better for viewing, maintaining temperature (78-82 F), and general health of the fish.

they don't give it up that easily, and if she is alot smaller she might be to intemed by him, give it time it'll happen, Or just get another female for him and let that one grow more then use her. If u use that name that'll be cool lol.
