Default male Royal Blue crown tail betta pink and red butterfly female?

Hello, I have a male Royal Blue crown tail betta and today I just bought a pink red butterfly female betta. I was wondering if anyone would know what colours will the fries (babies) be?

    Thanks in advance!

    Depends...

Even if the fishes father is blue and mother is red.. ur fry may be green, white or even other colours... Because u not only see the genes of the parents, u see the genes of their grandparents and even great grandparents..

tt's why ppl sell PURE breed at a more expensive price... Pure breed means like " their WHOLE GENERATION is RED..." for example.. haha

So keep trying my friend till you get the colours you want... Do keep a record of your breeding in order to get a better fry!

    AL THE BESTIE!

It really depends on the genes they are carrying. However, you should get 50% butterfly as the butterfly gene is dominant.

The butterfly gene is dominante as is the red gene. If I had to guess I'd say you'll get reds, reds with iridescence, blues with red wash, solid blues, red and blue multis, maybe some pinky reds, all with varying degrees of butterflying and remember butterflying is a type of marbling so you'll probably get some funky looking marbles too. If I were you i'd go for it could have some interesting results.
