Where can i buy crowntail bettas?

Does petco or petsmart sell them? Thanks. Also do they get along with tetras and shrimp?

Petco does sell them. Bettas and tetras together are kind of a coin toss. Tetras can be fin nippers, and your betta may attack them because he's so annoyed. Your betta may also be particularly territorial and attack them on sight. I'm not sure about shrimp, as I've never had them. I've heard of shrimp hijacking bettas and riding on them. Your betta may also think the shrimp is a nummy treat. It all depends on the fishs' personalities, really. If you do it, please tell us what happens. It would be interesting.

my betta ate al my Ghost shrimp when i added them, havent added GS ever since. but i have to say i agree with the statment above, it all depends on your individual bettas personality, its like my cichlids (im really big into cichlids) you will never be able to say for sure what is going to happen, it is all about knowing your fish and trial and error.

I know petco does sell them, they are actually starting to sell crowntails AND halfmoons...I thought that it is awesome! they are selling the females for them too...I bought my female crowntail there!

Petco sales all the main types of bettas, including crowntails. I am not sure if pet smart does, because i dont have one in my town. But i know pet world sells them.
