    Default crowntail betta not aggressive?

I had a divider in my tank, I had some fish on one side, and my crowntail betta on the other. A couple of fish found their way over to the bettas half. They have been in there with the betta for a few weeks now. Is he/she not aggressive? is it safe to take the divider out? There has been no problem with aggression what so ever. Surprising, I thought the betta would try to kill my other fish?

what type of fish were they? I had a betta and guppies and they didnt harm each other. You just have to pay close attention until you are sure they are not harming each other. If not you can let them be

Bettas are only usually aggressive with other bettas or fish which resemble them. Only the males are a potential problem too.
A single male betta will happily live in a community tank which holds fish of other species but no other bettas. Perfectly safe to allow them to mix.

Betas are usually only aggressive to other beta males. The other fish don't pose a breeding, territory, or hierarchy threat, so he's not going to get aggressive.
