What medications/preventatives/chemicals are harmless to both a Crown Tail

Betta and an African Dwarf Frog? Well.. I was on bettatalk.com (To bad there's no dwarffrogtalk.com,) and I was looking up some preventatives and some medications for a Betta. And There came a whole list of things, found out all knowsn Betta diseases, and looked up their cures annd preventatives.

Here's some questions..
Is _______ Safe for both the frog and my Betta?

And I have some more questions..
If a Betta gets a contagious disease, can it get passed on to the frog?
How can I tell the difference between an African Dwarf Frog, and an African Clawed Frog?

I am not sure about all these different medications. I would guess, in small doses, your frog would be just fine. I usually try aquarium salt and warmer water when my fish get sick before I start using medications.

An african clawed frog is huge compaired to the Dwarf frog.
