    Talking Food for Cat Fish?

Hello all, I have recently added a small cat fish to my betta tank. I was advised by the guy at the pet shop to add a small bit of wood to the tank, as wood helps the cat fish digest food. He also stated that I need to ensure that extra food makes it to the bottom of the tank to feed the cat fish. I am concerned as I have a filter and the tank is really clean. Can anyone recommend another source of food for the cat fish??

    I lightly steam them -

Make sure you take it out after 2 days max (wouldn't leave it in for that long in a small tank).. My catfish is in a community aquarium not with my beta...

    Thumbs up

Thank you all for the advise, I found some Sinking Shrimp Pellets for bottom feeders and he loves them! I also added some small cut up steamed vegetables in there too.

nice..can i see you can fish picture? I remembered when my family used to run a rice field. There was this "bio" farming thing of using cat fish to help rid of caterpillars that eats the rice plant leaves. They have cute sound like "chit chit" But since the govvy guy didn't tell anything bout it, my dad gave em food pallets. lol. And kids from the neighborhood catch them when we're not around. They are great fried with "sambal"/chili.

good day to all! i have my petshop here in cebu, and i want to share some my ideas on what kind of food to feed my catfish... Its only a rainbow fish, if you know that type of fish, its better to feed it in your catfish!
