    You're better to under-feed than over-feed.

    Little amounts, 2 0r 3 times a day.

If you feed it too much the fish may become bloted/constripation, it will also polute your tank water. .

A couple pellets a day should be fine. I over fed mine once and it exploded so don't do it.

I feed my betta 3 to 4 pellets per day. If you miss a day it won't hurt, Just remove the excess food the betta did not consume.

A few pellets a day, about 3-4. Over feeding can lead to swim bladder disorders, bloat or constipation, all of which can be deadly.
Try switching it up with the occasional blood worm, brine shrimp or the inside of a cooked pea.
The brine shrimp and pea will help to act as a sort of laxative, to help them keep things moving through their system nd prevent blockages.
    Best of Luck!

Do not over feed your fish! They can die. It is recommended to feed young ones 3 times a day and adult ones once. Feed them little portions and see how fast it eats it. If it sort of rushes for the food and eats it quickly you may want to think of feeding it a bit more than you do. Hope this helps

Feed 2 or 3 pellets or blood worms each day.

Feed them 2 or 3 times per day, to spread out the food.

You can feed them any time you want, it doesn't matter. II feed like this and my last betta lived almost 6 years.

A betta will always eat like that, always gobble, I could probably feed mine a half package of pellets and they'd still beg for more :P

Feed your betta a couple pellets, 2-3 and check on him in a few minutes. If his belly looks a tiny bit pudgy that's perfect. If it still looks sucked in or flat, feed one or two more. Every fish is different, and a betta in 80 degree 10 gallon tank will eat more than one in a room temp 1 gallon bowl.

See [Registered users only can see links. ] for pictures of how your betta's belly should look after eating.

Over feeding can lead to fatal infection such as swim bladder problem or dropsy.....which can be deadly if not treated at the initial stage.
Feed your betta in small portion once or twice daily & siphon daily to prevent ammonia buildup. If you don't have the time (like me) do it 2 day once.
A simple gauge is when the stomach develop a gentle curve.
Btw...betta can easily survived a week or more without food... i feed my older fish once daily & they look healthier then ever.
