| hi betafish i figured it would be easyer to show you in a thread how my dripsystem works and whats involved first of all even though my tank has glass dividers i usually have them carded off so the bettas cant see eachother 24/7 here is a drawing i did to help explain how the water goes from the front tanks to the back ![]() ![]() the inturnal filter picks up the heated water in the back and pushes it threw a pipe that is connected to the outlet of the filter and into the ront tanks then the water comes back into back by the holes at the bottom note: i use a 400lp/h filter for mine but if you have less tanks you can use a 200lp/h ive gone the extra mile with mine by adding a uv sterlizer and extra filter in the back but you can just use the one filter ![]() this pic shows the clear hose that is connected to the filter outlet and the taps that i use to control the flow of water that goes into each front tank ![]() ive drilled holes threw the back piece and put the hoses that bring the water in the front tanks just to make it look cleaner but you can just have them sitting on the top of each tank |

| i just found this pic which shows the clear pipe connected to the filter (this was when the tank was on the old stand) inturnal filter on the left, inturnal uv on the right, extra filter isnt in this pic ![]() oh and i just noticed this was when the smaller filter ws connected, i now use a a fluval plus 2 which is 400lp/h (twice the size of that one) i went threw 3 filters to figure out which one suited my tank the best lol so to make the drip system itself you will need: 1- a inturnal filter (size depends on how many tanks you have) 2- plastic pipe that will fit tightly on the outlet of the filter 3- some type of valve to control the water flow (i used normal air pump taps) 4- air line hose to feed water from the clear pipe to the front tanks 5- silicon (aquarium safe) to seal up the holes that you made to put the taps on the clear pipe and block off the end of the pipe and then the tank itself, if you would like me to i can explain how i made the tank too just let me know so its pretty simple once you understand how it works you can even customise the way i did it with your own design ive seen alot of diferent styles of drip systems hope that helps betafish |

| Divy, VERY nice system. I like the UV filter idea too, along with the other filter. Your self-contained drip system, I think, eliminates treating everyone if only one gets sick because you have glass dividers, individual drips to each tank, and the UV filtering - am I understanding your system correctly? Have you seen the newer Fluval 500 series filters? They now have a timer on them to shut down automatically (like 5 mins/day) to increase the longevity of the filter. Reduces overheating, burnout, etc. They're pretty neat, still a little pricey for me tho. |

| VERY neat filtering! Thanks for the great pics, too!
