true she's been on lately every other day. i'm sure she'll be on. Also i did read up on some plant life especially java fern and i did notice some plants its healthier to have some of there roots exposed. being that the roots cling on to rocks and decor in time. i will check up on this and try to get back to you. what kind of plant is it? and you really don't want sun on it because of algea growth. is there enough light in your tank too?

    Unhappy

i have my tank where it gets some sunlight, it's in my den and the aquarium gets light when the back door is open and the guy where i bought my plants said that they don't need alot of light and i jus hate that they are turning yellow, i asked him if i needed fertilizer and he told me that it could harm my fish and i certainly don't wanna do that, but i guessing i should get some fake silk plants, but i heard with those you have to take them out regularly to wipe them down to clean them, and its like i bought a filter, and a heater for the fish and now my fish is doing great and my plants are dying or not growing one or the other and its really bothering me

Im a plant enthusiast and have some nice and big ones in my tanks. The reason your leaves are turning yellow is because your plant is low on iron. There is plant supplement called Plant Gro that you can get from just about any pet store. Give it a shot, it works for my plants.

It should work fine as long as it contains Chelated Iron. Give it a week and you should notice color coming back to your plants.
