does anyone know anything about setting up a 5ft tropical fish tank, we need help on what filter and pump to use it has come from china and has no instructions how to set it up. and has no pump with it

find out how many gals or liters it holds, then try to find a heater and filter that heats/filters your size as the lowest (to midway, but preferably not the largest size, ie if your tank is 5 gals and there are 2 filters you can buy, buy the one that is 5 to 10 gals not 1 to 5 gals)

Is it a rectangular tank? If you give me the dimensions, I can tell you its capacity. If it's not, you can take a milk jug or something that you know the capacity of and count how many times it takes to fill it up. Doesn't matter where the tank came from, as long as it doesn't leak
