    How much do I feed him (flakes)? Also I dont know how often to clean his tank.....I was going to post pictures but I cant yet.

    If his tank is 1-3 gallons you change it completely once a week. For flakes, just feed him a few flakes in the morning and a few at night.

    no his isnt even a gallon.......it looks cloudier today than it did yesterday......think i need to change it every 2 days?

    Yes. It would be better if you got him a 2.5 g with a heater. That way you would only have to change it once a week, and your betta wouldn't get so stressed. Too-frequent water changes stress bettas, and stress can kill them just a well as any disease.
